The pictures above show a survey we carried out, where rising damp was diagnosed by an unqualified surveyor. After treatment damp continued to re-appear. Numerous attempts were made to treat the damp. When we arrived to investigate the ongoing problem, an external inspection instantly revealed a broken down comer, causing damp to penetrate the external wall. Asking a qualified surveyor to come in the first place could have saved this unlucky client the need cost of an unnecessary damp course.
